…POR EX ALUNOS DA ESCOLA SECUNDÁRIA QUINTA DAS PALMEIRAS PARA OS ATUAIS ALUNOS DO 12º ANO
A aproximação dos exames do 12ºano, a escolha dos cursos e das universidades a incluir na candidatura ao ensino superior, a perspetiva do fim próximo desta etapa da vida e a expectativa de uma nova etapa, a ansiedade provocada pelas dúvidas, a apreensão relativa a um futuro próximo ainda desconhecido, com novos protagonistas, novos espaços e a necessária adaptação uma vida nova, foram as razões para um encontro muito produtivo entre ex alunos e os alunos que frequentam, este ano, o 12º ano, da Escola Quinta das Palmeiras, no passado dia 7 de fevereiro.
A iniciativa, no âmbito da disciplina de Vivências e Experiências de Cidadania, aproveitou esta pausa entre os dois semestres, dos alunos que frequentam agora o ensino superior, para os reunir na Escola, vindos de várias universidades por todo o país (UBI – Covilhã, ISEG – Lisboa, ISTécnico – Lisboa, ULisboa, Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, Instituto Politécnico CB, UPorto) e de cursos tão diversificados como Gestão Turística e Hoteleira, Economia, Engenharia de Produção Industrial, Enfermagem, Medicina, Engenharia Informática e de Computadores, Engenharia Mecânica, Física, Matemática, Marqueting, Direito e Força Aérea Portuguesa.
Relembrando as experiências, ainda recentes, da frequência do 12º ano e da entrada na universidade, as mensagens deixadas pelos ex alunos foram muito positivas e consistiram, fundamentalmente, na importância do trabalho e do esforço para atingir objetivos, na importância de dar o melhor de si próprio, na importância de se optar pelo caminho que nos traga prazer e felicidade, na importância de nos sentirmos bem com a escolha que fizermos, de forma a sermos úteis e bons profissionais. Relatos dos primeiros tempos de insegurança, de adaptação a novas vidas, novos amigos, novas experiências, que foram dando lugar a um crescimento pessoal, a uma diversificação de aprendizagens, a vivências inesquecíveis que, seguramente farão parte de um património que levarão para a vida.
Foi assim uma conversa informal que pretendeu acima de tudo tranquilizar os finalistas do secundário e mostrar que o fundamental é enfrentar as decisões e as situações com calma, confiando no que a vida nos trás pois, afinal, “nada acontece por acaso…”
