A nossa escola, cujo Projeto Educativo assenta no paradigma humano, considera muito importante a formação dos alunos, na sua vertente pessoal e social, investindo no desenvolvimento da consciência cívica de cada um em prol de uma sociedade mais interventiva e solidária. Assim, no ano letivo de 2011- 2012 nasceu o Projeto Ser + .O projeto centra a sua ação educativa num paradigma humano, promovendo-se como um espaço educativo e cultural facilitador do sucesso escolar dos alunos e da realização profissional da Comunidade Educativa. Enfatiza valores humanos de defesa e salvaguarda da vida, da integridade física, psicológica e moral de promoção do respeito por si e pelos outros e de valores de justiça, honestidade, liberdade e verdade; na promoção, nos alunos, de atitudes de autoestima, de respeito mútuo e de regras de convivência que contribuam para a sua educação como cidadãos tolerantes, justos e autónomos, organizados e civicamente responsáveis que valorizem o Conhecimento, o Saber e as Aprendizagens e na promoção da igualdade de oportunidades de sucesso escolar, visando minimizar dificuldades específicas de aprendizagem e integração escolar e desigualdades culturais, económicas e sociais. Pretende, de igual forma sensibilizar e envolver toda a comunidade educativa em atividades que promovam a partilha e o voluntariado.
